What’s the aim of the VRTECH Conference? What will attendees take away from it?
VRTECH aims to help Indian industry recognise and utilise the power of implementing augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) for various enterprise functions, such as design, manufacturing, maintenance, training and marketing.
The event will help attendees evaluate adoption of the technology for their own operations and identify the right partners to do business with.
What will the keynote panel focus on?
The keynote panel is entitled, XR: Changing the landscape to do business. In this session, senior industry thought leaders are coming together onstage to discuss extended reality (XR) as an engineer’s communication tool, and how it greatly helps as a decision support mechanism by removing ambiguities in interactions.
They will also address how XR is being used to reduce time to market by aiding faster decisions and due to it being cross-functional, as well as early involvement of all stakeholders
This is a key component of Industry 4.0. XR is therefore a pillar to Industry 4.0 readiness.
The conference will also assess XR impact and implementation―what will attendees learn?
In this session, attendees will be able to appreciate how widespread XR really is in enterprise. It will help them understand global trends and give them clear insights on what problems they may face while implementing AR and VR within their own operations.
Based on these insights, attendees will be able to make the right and appropriate choices from the available technologies.
Which breakout session are you most excited about and why?
This time, we have an exciting new session with a panel discussion on how marketing managers are using AR and VR to enhance their customer’s experience in the process of buying. We know of a company revolutionising its campaigns by launching a VR-based test-drive experience for its vehicles. This breakout session will explore how it’s done.
What are the networking opportunities at the conference?
The event’s format itself is such that it offers ample opportunities to network and mingle—during tea breaks, and also between sessions. Of course, the evening presents a more relaxed atmosphere while watching demos and enjoying drinks and dinner.
