XR Ignite, a community hub and hyper-accelerator connecting high-growth virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR/AR/XR) startups with enterprise clients, is accepting applications to its exclusive programme.

The XR Ignite community programme is open to all XR startups in the fields of VR, AR and XR, as well as computer vision, machine learning, photogrammetry, three-dimensional models, spatial computing, spatial audio, haptics, game engines and tools.

XR Ignite’s board of advisers and mentors, which includes MetaVRse chief executive officer and XR For Business podcast host Alan Smithson, will select member companies. They will gain access to customers, mentors and talent.

Corporate partners will have direct access to these vetted companies through a proprietary matching system.

Smithson, is also chief executive officer of XR Ignite, said: “When you factor in savings as well as revenue, over $1 trillion of value will be created by XR technologies over the next 10 years.”

“While laying the groundwork for our first accelerator cohort in September 2019, we realised a need for startups everywhere to work together collaboratively, and for companies to have access to these products and services as fast as possible. We’re launching the XR Ignite community network because we believe in the power of these technologies to unlock new realities for global business and education.”

Applications for startups and corporate partners can be submitted at XRIgnite.com.
