Episode 2 of the Pivot Fast series from Brightline Interactive, Resource Department and the VR/AR Association is taking place on 14 May.

The Pivot Fast online events, streamed via YouTube Live, aim to help organisations better understand digital and virtual platforms, and arm them with the knowledge they need to get the most out of them.

Episode 1 of Pivot Fast took place in April and saw Brightline Interactive’s Tyler Gates and Donny Neufuss outline the platform options available, and then speak to Amy Scarfone of Microsoft, Joanna Popper of HP, Ron Martin of Unity and Vinay Narayan of HTC Vive about their own solutions for virtual communication and collaboration.

Scheduled for 14 May at 2pm EST / 11am PST / 7pm GMT, the free-to-watch Episode 2 will be hosted by Gates and will feature industry experts from Accenture, Microsoft, Nokia and Unity.

The Pivot Fast events are a must-attend for any organisation considering digital and virtual platforms as a means for content dissemination, networking, education and training.

VRWorldTech editorial board member Sophia Moshasha, of Brightline Interactive, wrote an excellent recap of Episode 1, available here and in the latest issue of VRWorldTech Magazine.

“Understanding the core of what you have been doing and why, you’ll be able to better understand what options or combination of options, will work for you.”

Sophia Moshasha, Brightline Interactive

As she wrote: “It’s important to be able to understand where you are now to know where to go. Do you have a campaign that culminates around a physical launch of a movie with activations in different geographical locations or are you involved with sporting events that require a physical presence of players and attendees? Thinking about your event goals, what is it that you were really trying to achieve? Understanding the core of what you have been doing and why, you’ll be able to better understand what options or combination of options, will work for you.”
