The online VRARA Global Summit kicks off this morning. Here are five points to consider to get the most out of the experience.
It’s across three time zones, so you do not have to go without sleep to attend. The day begins at 10am UTC and runs until approximately midnight. The massive free-to-attend VRARA Global Summit features more than 100+ speakers and dozens of keynotes, panel discussions, sessions, sponsored events and networking blocks throughout the three days.
It’s cross-platform, meaning there are lots of different ways to ‘attend’. The main summit is being held on online events platform Hopin, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch, but there are plenty of side events in VR through the likes of AltSpaceVR, where the Cathy Hackl Women’s Scholarship will be awarded to one woman who wants to make a difference in the world of VR and AR technologies. Similarly, Mozilla Hubs is being utilised for fitness, meditation, yoga, talks, relaxation and training.
Event schedule and agenda builder app Sched is where you’ll find the VRARA Global Summit schedule. Set up an account and you can create your own itinerary for the full three days. You can also set up your attendee profile and hook up your social media accounts.
Networking time has been blocked out every few hours. You can visit exhibitors in their booths and learn, network and connect—and take a step back and get away from your screen for a few hours.
